Best Ways to Lose Weight and Burn Fat

Are you struggling with losing weight?

Or maybe you have heard a hundred different things about fat burning and don’t know where to start?

Let me tell you my 3 TOP WAYS of losing weight and burning fat taken from my own personal experience and results through my clients!

1. Track what you are eating and make sure you are eating for your goals in terms of calories. You need to be in a CALORIE DEFICIT if you want weight loss. This means that you need to be eating less calories than what you are burning which changes your energy balance.

Essentially your CALORIES IN needs to be LESS than your CALORIES OUT.

2. Make PROTEIN a priority with your food. It has been scientifically proven that a high protein diet in a calorie deficit will result in weight loss and fat loss!! Protein has a 30% effect on TEF (Thermic Effect of Food) that will encourage your metabolism to burn fat. But this doesn’t mean you just eat protein all day long…

Optimal protein intake is between 1.8g-3g per KG of Lean Body Mass. The rest of your diet is made up of Carbohydrates and Fats.

3. BE ACTIVE. By increasing your calories OUT this will push you into more of a caloric deficit and therefore burn more calories. Things like going for a walk during your lunch break, walking to a location that is close by instead of driving, kick a ball around with friends or even start a sport. This will increase your NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) so get moving instead if lounging around! Another good way to do this is get a fitness tracker and set yourself a daily or weekly goal.

I hope this helps with your fat loss goals and especially set your protein intake to the right amount to kick start the process! Keep it simple, be consistent and the results will come.
